If there’s any downside, it’s that Big Mono apparently needs the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt to work (retails for $399). I could see myself taking advantage of these.Īs much as they’ve pushed the “vintage” angle, I could see this sample pack working well for modern productions as well. They do sound BIG! Not to mention, they have a nice, organic, realistic sound to them. Having listened to these samples, I’ve got to say… they weren’t lying about the size of the sounds.
